My name is Natalie Cummings. I live at the south end of Silicon Valley, California and work for a Fortune 100 technology company.
I’m so happy to share my ideas for fresh and delicious home cooking with you on this website. To say I have a passion for food would be an understatement. I have hundreds of cookbooks, have watched even more TV shows on how to cook ... everything, and have taken many weeknight and weekend gourmet classes around the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. I have also had the opportunity to sample foods from some of the world's best chefs running the gamut from a nine-course meal from Thomas Keller of The French Laundry in Napa, CA, to the best ceviché I have ever tasted from street vendor in Mulegé, Mexico! My most recent culinary adventure was a five day culinary boot camp at the Culinary Institute of America in St. Helena, Califoria! What a BLAST!
For the past several years, I have had what seemed like a far off dream of creating a cooking website. In October of 2008, it suddenly hit me that all I had to do make my dream come true was register a domain and start typing away. OK, perhaps the current site is not yet the grandiose site of my dream, but I love it for what it can and will be. After all, life is a journey, not a destination.
